My name is Marcus Girod,

These letters are for the Swiss Amish people in Adams County and the surrounding region. Each letter will be sent to every

address in Adams County due to the grievous report that has been established through many testimonies.

In the winter of January 1525 in Zürich, Switzerland, some 12 men made their way down a narrow street to the home of Anna

Manz, the mother of Felix. The City Council & Reformed Church leaders had ordered them to stop meeting together to study the

Bible. The question in the Manz household arose. What should we do?

Once inside, they knelt together and prayed for guidance. George Blaurock, a former priest, stood up and asked Conrad Grebel

to baptize him. Grebel, emboldened by the Spirit, rose up and baptized Blaurock who then baptized all the others. This is where the

Anabaptist movement was born.

News leaked out about what they had done. Immediately, The Bible study group was arrested and jailed by the Church leaders.

Once this group was released, they began to travel and preach the gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 1:16-17,

John 1:12, 17:3.

2 years later, on January 5, 1527, Felix Manz was martyred for his faith and drowned in the Limmat River in Zürich, Switzerland.

He was one of the first known Anabaptists to be killed for preaching to the lost.

The small Bible study group quickly multiplied into thousands as they lived out the great commission found in Mathew 28:18-

20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you....” Many thousands of them were martyred by drowning, beheading, and

being burned at the stake for their simple obedience to the Bible in living out Mathew 28.

In 1644, Jacob Ammann was born. He was a 3rd-generation tailor in the State Reformed church. He joined the Anabaptist

movement in 1671. In time, he was ordained Bishop in an Anabaptist movement called the Swiss Brethren. Jacob Ammann pivoted

away from Matthew 28. Losing the emphasis on pursuing those who were still lost; he began to look inward at the already saved

congregation around him and began to find faults with their individual journeys of faith. He implemented a strict dress code for all

those who were in good standing with his church. The dress Code would have followed the clothing he specialized in making.

He became so confident in his own righteousness that he began to excommunicate those around him who did not agree with his

codes of conduct, implementing more and more regulations and falling farther and farther away from preaching to those who were

still lost. He fell from the true gospel of peace that leads to repentance, Romans 10:8-10.

From this, the Amish denomination was born and the Ordnung idol was instituted. Progressively, we have traded out the word

of God (the Bible) for our individual community Ordnung idol that cannot save in any way. It is an image of false humility, self-

righteousness, self-awareness, self-importance and selfworship. It’s an image entirely focused on self. (How I dress, how I look to

others, how my buggy looks, how my buggy wheels look, how my house looks, how my shoes look, how my hat looks, how my

beard looks, how my barn looks). This demonic Ordnung idol has deceived you into believing that all the things you see with your

physical eyes are more important than your heart condition towards Jesus and towards others. In following this; the devil will drag

any of you, who do not turn from this wicked mindset, to hell with him. Matthew 23:27-28 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and

Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside, but on the inside you are full of the

bones of the dead and everything unclean.” In the same way, on the outside, you appear to people as righteous, but on the inside, you

are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. Today, we as Amish people have switched roles with those we believe are lost. We have become

the persecutors of those who are pursuing a relationship with Jesus. Threatening excommunication to anyone who might pursue a

personal relationship with their Creator and with sins piled to heaven and back, you still pretend to be good because you follow the

meaningless Ordnung idol.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ

Jesus is in you? Unless, of course, you fail the test?” Amish people, do you pass the test?

1 Peter 1:14-16 “As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But

just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written: be holy because I am holy.” Amish people, are

you holy? Or are you still in your sinful ignorance? Are you molesting your children? Are you indulging in animal s-x? Are

you excommunicating family and friends for breaking the meaningless Ordnung idol? Are you abusing your wives? Are you

dabbling in the witchcraft of the Pennsylvania Dutch - Braucherei/Reiki?

2 Corinthians 6:20-21 “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We

implore you on Christ’s behalf: be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him, we might

become the righteousness of God.”

Amish people, are you the righteousness of God or do you look more like hell than heaven?

Mark 16:15-18 “He (Jesus) said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and

is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe.

In my name, they will drive out demons. They will speak in new tongues. They will pick up snakes with their hands, and when

they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all. They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Amish people are you preaching the gospel to all parts of the world, or are your shepherds only feeding yourselves? Do you

believe as one who will be saved or will you live your life in unbelief only to be condemned on the last day? Do you lay your

hands on the demon-possessed and cast out devils or are you possessed by devils yourself? Do you pray in tongues or do you

still indulge in cursing and swearing at those you do not like? Do you see the sick recover when you pray for them or do you

even pray for the sick at all?

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.”

Are you walking in the Spirit of peace? Are you walking in the power of the Holy Spirit? Are you walking in His perfect

love and in His sound mind or does the devil have control of your mind? Are you tormented at night with suicidal thoughts? Are

you tormented with uncontrollable lust? Are you tormented with rage that you know does not come from you? Are your living

in fear of what will happen to you when Jesus returns?

Jesus said he has come to set us free and free indeed. John 8:36. Today you can walk in relationship with Jesus where you

are completely free of fear. Fear has to do with punishment. Once we understand that our punishment was put on the shoulders

of Jesus, we are set free to love like He loved, free from ALL guilt, shame, and condemnation.
